Avrupa\u2019da o d\u00f6nemde ya\u015fanan k\u0131tl\u0131\u011f\u0131n etkisinin nas\u0131l geri \u00e7evrilebilece\u011fini ara\u015ft\u0131ran bu deneyde kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lara bir s\u00fcre normal beslenme d\u00fczeyi uygulanm\u0131\u015f, daha sonra ise g\u00fcnl\u00fck kalori miktarlar\u0131n\u0131n neredeyse yar\u0131 yar\u0131ya azalt\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir a\u00e7l\u0131k d\u00f6nemine sokulmu\u015flard\u0131r. G\u00fczel bir yemek yemi\u015f olmak ki\u015fiyi mutlu edebilir. A\u015f\u0131r\u0131 yemek ise ki\u015fide su\u00e7luluk duygusu yaratabilir. Baz\u0131 ki\u015filerin psikolojisi bozulmu\u015fken, \u00f6rne\u011fin depresyondayken i\u015ftahlar\u0131 kapan\u0131r, baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n ise artar.
